I've tried a couple things but haven't really found anything I like.

That's a personal kind of thing, as makeup really is an 'to each their own' kind of thing. But brands I like include:
- Sugarpill
- Urban Decay
- MAC
- NARS
- Tarte
- NYX

Does it leave like a caked on look at all?

It really is a to each their own kinda thing. For my foundation I only use Jane Iredale, for the sake that the mineral formula has brought my problematic skin a long way. Most of my blushes and bronzers are also from Jane Iredale. Eye products and lip products and some blush are from any brand that catches my eye all the way from Hard Candy to Urban decay, and whatever Ipsy sends my way ;)
