Hey Lauren, I have exactly the same problem because I just purchased some Sigma brushes from Ebay and after I opened the box I instantly felt they are not real. I live in UK too and after researching for the last hour I also found a site that helps you how to tell the fake from real brushes. Inside it says : " Logo and printing: now, Sigma also engrave their logo on the copper ferrule of their makeup brushes; also since all sigma brushes are made in China, besides the brush name and number, all their brushes handles are engraved letters: Made in P.R.C. If you can not find Made in P.R.C in your sigma brushes, or can not find Sigma logos in your brushes with copper ferrule. These brushes you bought must be fakes." So does that mean that the brushes are fake? I am confused and rather upset because I paid quite a lot for this set to end up with a fake one.

I noticed these posts were from a long time ago. Any new info on how to tell if brushes are fake? I just bought the extravaganza set from eBay for about $160 including shipping. I'm getting very nervous because the deal seems to good to be true!!

Pardis, I don't really know what to say about your brush set seeing as though they usually sell for about $500 so either someone was desperate for money or... either way always check for the serial number on the back along with the patent pending inscription.
