Always keep your lip liner sort of sharp and not dull if it is a pencil.

You could try applying your lipstick with a small brush. I have a lipstick that bleeds really bad and applying with the brush really helps.

Sharpen lipliner each use, apply lipstick blot, apply translucent powder over lips and reapply lipstick :) if you need to clean up after that use a cotton bud to perfect edges.

Hmm, having problems with lipstick getting caught in your teeth or the overall look?
Sharpen your lip liner if it's a pencil (if it's retractable, you're good!) and trace your natural lip line or create a lip shape that you desire. Usually I do this by stretching out my lips by smiling or grimacing against my teeth. Apply the lipstick within the lines on your top lip. Pucker. If the lipstick stays within the bottom lip, keep going! And to get rid of the nasty stray lipstick in the teeth deal, suck on your index finger and pull out.
