You could paint you nails all white and then take it down to how thick you want it or put tape on your nails to we're you want it to stop and the paint the end of your nails hope it helps

In the salons I have been at they paint on a thick white line on all the nails then got back with a small brush and acetone and remove the polish till the desires amount.
