Ok! to those of you who play a stringed instrument...do you cut off your nails? And if not, how do you keep them from friggin' breaking or messing with the sound of your instrument! I play guitar and my nails make the strings sound so buzzy because they get in the way...and they chip.-.

I just cut much nails to the point where its short enough to not bother you but not all the since then it looks weird.
And get a really good top and base coat I play piano guitar and I started the violin so I didn't really have much of a choice :), good luck!

Thanks! And I play sax too...so I don't have to worry at all with that...but then I picked up guitar and I was like D; nooo.
