I have sort of a dupe, but from my understanding they're all the same size basically, and they all expand a lot when dampened. I just got the real techniques sponge and I like it a lot. Usually I don't love sponges and the other dupe I tried was so hard and even when damp did nothing but soak up my foundation. I much prefer this one though. It's soft and has a better shape in my opinion. It still has the pointed side but also a flatter side that is nice to have as well. Just in case you were locking for something a bit cheaper :)
