What is your skin are routine?

Not foundation, but invest in a pore erasing primer. Foundation would just make your pores more noticeable. It also doesn't seem like you really need foundation, maybe just get a good concealer. What I recommend...
Primer:Porefessional
Concealer:Erase Paste

Maybe just concealer since you only have one scar. foundation can be heavy and clog your pores more.

Uhm the advice being given is kind of off. Bb cream actually increases the look of pores. And it's good for dry skin but not oily (most bb creams), also the loreal miracle blur is not meant to be a primer, it'll only make your makeup (like foundation applied right on top) slide off. You can get a primer to fill in pores (porefessional by benefit, tarte has one that's pretty good, so does too faced) and the you can use foundation. A light coverage like makeup forever hd foundation. It's good for combo skin. Also, don't pack it on for coverage, use a concealer for blemishes and scars. Set your makeup where you get oily and you'll be good to go :) lastly make sure you take care of your skin! Especially in using a fair amount of products. Hope this helps :)

I can't do foundation. lol you really don't need it for day to day. Maybe if you're going to a special event or taking pictures but other than that, just rock your natural skin. I think a lot of girls spend more time covering up their skin instead of trying to improve it. (Excuse the rant lol)

@Mairead what primes have you used before your foundation? I used to have horrible pores! Like horrible and I used porefessional and it worked beautifully, without it foundation only made my skin look worse. Other than that, I tried bb creams and they made my pores look worse. I improved my pores with my skin care routine but they're still there and the only bb creams I can use are the garnier and smashbox one because I'm oily.

Regardless if what you do remember once you start wearing it there's no going back, foundation makes your skin look worse when you don't wear it. you'll notice way more discoloration and depending on your foundation some acne too. I started wearing foundation when I was 15 and although it does make you look flawless, when I didn't wear it I felt like a zombie lol and my skin got worse than it was before I started wearing it.

I wouldn't go with foundation , I would go with a light bb cream just to even your skin out with a little coverage. Before applying the bb cream I would use benefits porefessional primer and then finally set it with a good powder.
Drugstore powder: rimmel stay matte
High end- Mac skin finish
Bb cream - tarte

I'm sorry to hear that, Mairead. I just know as soon as I added the St. Ives green tea scrub and their exfoliator that's meant to reduce the look of pores by cleaning them out, to my routine my pores stated to look much less noticeable.
