I have adhesive but how do you actually apply it without making a huge mess?

Use a small makeup brush. Then spray your application brush with Fix Plus or even just water, something to help pick up the glitter (not too wet, just barely damp) & then just lay the glitter onto the place you put adhesive. Like a patting motion but very gently. More a delicate pressing or you'll lose half of it onto your cheek & everywhere else besides where you want it. I suggest spraying a fine mist of setting spray over it once your happy with how it looks to help lock it in place. Good luck! Post pics please<3

Try putting a paper towel under your eyelid while applying glitter all the fallout should land on the towel.

You need some type of adhesive to keep it in place. You could use something like a thin coating of Vaseline until you have a proper adhesive. I can't say enough for Lit Cosmetics, both their glitter and the adhesive. LOVE THEM!
