Before/after?
Does applying hair oil before curling helps to protect it or it actually burns the hair?

It can burn it cos it's grease combindin with heat so I'd be carefull your better off usin a heat defence spray and then an hair oil spray once you've curled it that way your curls wnt fall out, but dnt spray to much lol.

That's inaccurate I use an oil that has heat protectant and it makes my hair shinier and softer and my curls look better.!

Depends on the oil tho cos some can burn I use argan oil on my hair and is fine all depends, if ya dnt no thn just go with heat protector.

If it has heat protection in it then it's okay, but it's a normal oil then you need to be careful! Don't burn off your hair!
