First Impression: At first glance this nail polish appears to be a dark shade of metallic purple when its in the bottle. However, when you look closley you can notice that it has gold flecks of glitter flowing through it. This nail polish is also cruelty free/non-animal tested.
Packaging: The nail polish bottle is in the form of a skull which is very cute in my opinion. Although, it is rather small (.4 fluid ounces) and you do not get that much polish. If you are known for fabulous purple nails I suggest you buy several bottles of this color.
Price: This nail polish retails at $5.00. However, the entire Hot Topic website is having a sale and it is currently only $3.75 a bottle. Again, this nail polish is available at any Hot Topic store.
Color payoff & longjevity: In the photo on the upper right hand corner I have applied two coats of this polish to achieve this specific color. It is very beautiful and will sparkle in the light. However, because of Hot Topic's cheaply made formula this nail polish does chip quite easily, even when a top coat is applied. It lasted about 2 1/2 weeks before I had to re-apply.
Overall Satisfaction: Purple is my favorite color and when I saw this in the store I was immediately drawn to it. I love its metallic finish. However, if you are an avid nail polish changer such as myself, I would recommend another brand if you are seeking a polish with long lasting color.
Extra: The style or shape of my nails is called Stiletto. Let me know if you enjoyed reading my review and you are welcome to ask any questions concerning this topic.
