I've heard that using conditioner instead of soap or shaving gel works well :)

Hydro silk the blue one is AMAZING, it has these little pocket that contain a pressed powder (it won't break or fall out) that when wet turn into a gel, that's all I use, no cream no nothing. And the little pockets contain enough powder gel (I don't know what to call it) to last you at least 3 weeks!
