I have oily/combo skin and it loves Smashbox bb cream. Been using it for over 6 months now and it doesn't break me out or contribute more oil to my skin either. Sometimes I set it with a light dusting of translucent powder but now that the weather is cooler I will stop doing so. With the powder it gives me a nice semi glow. TM offer less coverage so if you're needing something to even you out I would definitely go with a bb cream.
