I use a red eyeshadow and just apply it wet :) But MAC and Inglot both make red gel liners which might make it easier to do, I haven't tried tho. :)

Interesting!! I'll have to try it with different colors... Where do you find red shadow without paying crazy prices

I'm using one from Coastal Scents :) The individual shadow is $1.95 and a pallets including the red is prob $15!
