I had the same problem! I didnt want to cut my hair so what I did is stop starightening them and deep condition them everytime I shower and I do a hair mask before shower
deep conditioning : oilive oil , argan oil , coconut oil , almond oil or any oil wram a hot towel around your hair and live it for an hour or more
for the mask : eggs with olive oil
my hair has become real great hope I helped

Ulta sells a travel size of this for $4, so you could try it out and see if it works for you. Just make sure to use a clarifying shampoo once a week to clean all the build up from the oils.
