I tried the butterfly mascara. The brush itself is the main selling point. I found the formula to be okay, yet a bit too wet for my liking. The brush is somewhat difficult to use, and I made my lashes look more feathered, but they flaked and became "stringy" looking after three coats. While this isn't the most positive outlook, I hope I could at least help. I'd recommend last blast (orange tube) from cg over the butterfly.

I loooove the Lorac pro palette. I got the Ulta Red Special value and it came with eyeliner pen and eye primer. I think the palette is very similar to UD 1 and 2 but less expensive but just as good if not better quality!

I didn't care much for the butterfly mascara either. It is very wet, not very buildable and flaky. I much prefer the voluminous million lashes. My lashes need volume more than lengthening so perhaps it just isn't a good formula for me.
