When you take out your curl from your iron hold it until it's cool, that usually helps with mine :)

My hair is the same way and what I do is use tresseme mousse when my hair is damp, then I finish blow drying it, after I spray it with just a little sea salt spray by not your mothers. I curl it after that and once I have curled all my hair I spray it with a generous amount of hairspray all over and it lasts all day and then some!

After you curl each strand, roll them back up the way you curled them and pin them up with a bobby pin, and leave them there until you are done with all of your hair.
