You could always get the ones with sticky adhesive instead of that nail glue. The nail glue rips off layers of the nails. But the ones with the adhesive don't.

If you have nice nails I would not. I had acrylic nails once. the looked great and lasted. a long time. but the filed and buffed my nail bed to the piont that my actual nails were cracking and breaking all the time.
