Do biotin pills really help with your hair and nails growth and strength? I am willing to start taking them but I would like some opinions first :)

They work miracles! I take them and I see some difference in the speed of my hair growth (nothing drastic though) but my nails grow extremely quickly and everyone always thinks I'm wearing fake nails ;)

Yes they work. However to explain in depth to you about Biotin...
Biotin comes to us naturally from food. There are a plethora of foods rich in Biotin. You can create your own biotin rich smoothie without taking the pill. This is a lot better than taking the pill... Why?
Biotin pills are meant initially for people with a biotin deficiency or a related illness. Biotin supplements are NOT approved by the FDA and if you do your research you will read mostly about its nasty side effects. Some of these side effects include, High fever, nausea, vomiting, mild to severe acne seems to be the most popular and some effects as bizarre as acne on your legs.
If you really must, now I like to do my research because in all honesty half the people in here will tell you to eat dog poop if some one said it worked and that's the truth. It's better to see a doctor and make sure you can take biotin supplements if you like. Too much biotin can become deadly just like any other supplement. To achieve long hair and strong nails... I got ten thousands ways with good results that work that doesn't include taking a supplement that's not even approved by our own sketchy government. I rather play safe than sorry but that's up to you.

They don't have a taste; they're pills so you just take them with water and watch your hair and nails grow :)
