My skin is comb to dry and I use an anti bacterial cleanser with citric acid and cucumber and eucalyptus and have noticed an improvement against blackheads but it doesn,t dry my skin(it,s a russian brand and couldn,t be founded in usa). Try to look at ingredients when you purchase a product - search for smth with salicylic acid or fruit acids like citric, glycolic, lactic, mandelic ect. Three of them in as product are enougth:-)
