I LOVE wearing bright colors!! In high school that was basically all I wore. Some people liked it and some thought it was too much. To each it's own. Wear whatever YOU like to wear. Remember you're wearing it for you not for other people. If they don't like it then that's just a problem they have t deal with in their own. And hey some of their comments might just be out of jealousy

And to answer your other question no I don't get offended when people say negative things about my makeup. I just nod or say "ok" and walk away

I do enjoy wearing bright eyeshadows but I haven't gotten any judgmental comments because of that. I think some people are just rude and like to bring others down, especially when it's a look they know they can't pull off.

Sometimes, criticism can be constructive, not every comment is meant to be negative (it only is if you take it that way). If someone says they think your makeup is too bright, of course you will be offended, but try to take it as advice rather then being rude. I would definitely want to know if my lipstick is way too bright for my skin tone making me look like Tyrone Biggums, its all about what works well with your skin tone & what doesn't ;-)

I love wearing bright colorful eye shadow. The worst(ish) response i've got is 'wow that's an interesting color.' Depending on the person i cant tell if it is a compliment or an insult. If it seems negative i just laugh it off. I wear what i want because it makes me happy not to impress strangers.

I think you should wear whatever makes you happy. I do wear brights when I feel like it. people are just mean sometimes, don't let it stop you from expressing yourself.
