My hair was bleached to get the color I have now. I'm a natural blonde then dyed my hair black, then bleached and went red. If I dye my hair over what I have now will my roots look weird?

Don't bleach. Maybe try a Malibu treatment first to get rid of color build up you can get them at Sally's, and then you can apply the color hair dye you want, if you want it bright use a higher peroxide, I suggest starting at your ends because when you use red your roots come super bright and the ends look dull so start at the ends first.
