I need help. I see all these picks on perfect messy buns and mine always look horrible. Can someone help me?:/

Well, I always do a very high ponytail first. Then I take the end of the ponytail and put it underneath the ponytail. Then kinda spread the bun out so if looks messier. Also pull some strands of hair out of the ponytail. ;)
