I am so tired of my dry lips! I'm using Burt's bees lip balm to help my dry lips I'm exfoliating with sugar and lemon but nothing seems to work and I started to drink water but nothing seems to work any suggestions or products to use??!!

Put on some vaseline before bed. When you wake up, they should feel better. continued use of chapstick will definitely be helpful though (:

I personally love Nivea lip butters, and for a more expensive option, the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment is my absolute favorite. They're thicker in consistency, and they really sink into your lips and feel great, especially overnight.

The Fresh lip balms are amazing. They're sort of like baby lips but so, so, so much better. Jack Black lip balm is really good too. You can get both at Sephora. I would also get a lip scrub. There are recipes online to make your own but I prefer them already made. Fresh makes some and I've heard Lush have really good ones. I actually need to pick one up myself soon.

Caitlin if you're looking for lip scrubs, I recommend Lush over Fresh :) obviously they're a bit cheaper, but I think they also work better, they're pretty finely milled and don't require using a lot (I found myself using a lot of the Fresh) also I think the Lush ones taste better!

I've had this same problem! My lips are constantly dry and I've tried a ton of different lip products. I just got this at the grocery store a few days ago and my lips are already so smooth. It was only like 98 cents too, it's a medicated chap stick and so far it's worked wonders! It's also important to stay hydrated especially this time of year your skin will dry out (which is probably a huge reason why my lips have been so dry also) I definitely recommend this!

Instead of using lemon in your lip scrub, use honey and olive oil along with sugar.Get a super moisturizing lip balm made with shea butter.I got mine at the farmers market and it is super moisturizing.Wet your lips with rose water during the day a few times and then use the lip balm.At night, apply coconut oil or desi ghee (you can get it at local indian stores) and then let it soak and then apply a later of your lipbalm if you want extra moisturizing.Hope it helped. For tips like this, please follow my blog..I have juz started..there is not much content now on the blog..but i am updating it daily..http://fairysbeautywand.blogspot.com/

I had a reaction to Burt's and the dermatologist told me that the chemicals in there products actually dry out the lips. I had dry lips Tuesday and now it's Thursday and after using my Nivea Chapstick my lips are soft again.

I second on the rosebud salve! It helps a ton. And Lush has great lip scrubs. I use my mint julips one almost every day!

Thanks Hannah! I'm planning on getting Lush's bubblegum lip scrub. There aren't any Lush stores in my area sadly so I've never really got to experiment with their products but I've heard really good things about a lot of their stuff, particularly the lip scrubs. I think I'm going to buy a couple things to try with whatever money I get for Christmas :) I'm in need of a lip scrub really bad haha.
