Top Coat Issues

Quick question. Does anyone else find that when they apply the top coat, that it makes the polish streak? Is there a way to prevent this? I waited all day to do it and it still happened.

I generally dislike most of top coats excepting burjois,s. try to keep it in fridge 15minutes before using and don,t shake the bottle:-)

You have to wait till the underneath coats are dry, sometimes that takes a few hours if you're using acrylic paint or thicker nail polish. Other than that, I'd say switch brands

I never have this problem with Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat! I rarely used topcoats before I bought this one because I would spend money on trying sooo many different ones and they always streaked or bubbled... until I tried the Seche Vite.

That usually happens when you don't have enough topcoat on the brush, or if it's old. Those streak marks are imprints of the bristles. I would try a new topcoat. I really, really love the Out The Dood topcoat! They sell it at Sally's, BB&B, and some grocery stores! :)
