Hi all, I have oily/combination skin , my nose/chin are the driest area's of my face, but the rest gets really shiny :/
I currently use nivea soft, I like it but doesn't stop much shine, I also do better with vitamin e creams I've noticed , anyone have any advice which mosituriser would work better and have a mattifying effect?

I don't know of any moisturizers but maybe try to follow your moisturizer with a mattifying primer? You can wear it under foundation or by itself. They're usually silicone based. I have NYX Shine Killer.

Clinique gel moisturizer from their three step lines. It's amazing. So light and it leaves your skin so soft. Can't even feel it on your face afterwards. It doesn't really mattify though so I follow with a mortifying primer from Avon. Lush has a lotion though that's supposed to be mattifying. That's my next purchase. Love lush products, they're all natural and always fresh!

The Body shop has mattifying moisturizers. I use the seaweed one. :)

Honestly I don't believe in spending a lot on moisturizer, I hav super oily and acne prone skin, and I invested on LUSH Enzymion moisturiser its supposed to make you skin matte and non shiney. It did no such thing. I went to my skin doctor and she prescribed to me two clinical products that is available in any pharmacy and cost like $5 and they are the best, my skin is less oily and in control.
Benclean face wash.
Tricolor face cream. its a sunscreen, and lightening cream.

Or try Cerave AMfacial moisturizing lotion with SPF 30. It has Zinc Oxide in it which is a sunscreen ingredient but has been known to help with acne too
This are the ONLY 2 moisturizers that don't make me break out. And believe me, I've tried it all from the most expensive (Shiseido at $250) to the cheapest (honey and coconut oil). It aaaalllll makes me break out.
Except for these 2
A good moisturizer is important because when your face is dry, your body starts producing more oil to combat the dryness. Lucky for us that equals clogged pores and acne.
I would also use acne products with salicylic in them. Dermalogica had a great face wash for adult acne called Medibac.
In the Dermalogica line hey also have something called a cleansing mattifier which has some salicylic acid in it. It's I supposed to enchouragw more matte skin though the day, while fighting acne at the same time. It goes on with a light powdery finish.
Some of these products I mentioned aren't that cheap, but I promise you that after at lease a good month of a honesty trial, you'll see the difference and be hooked
