I need an acne medication??

I'm going to the doctors soon, I've been on 2 different types of acne medication for long periods of time, I have a good skin care set, does anyone have a pill they would recommend to go on, I've also tried topical lotions that did not work either, hope someone answers!!

Doxycycline worked wonders for my skin! Unlike accutane, it didn't dry out my skin and it completely cleared it up. I get tiny zits only once in a while now, nothing compared to the horrible cystic acne I once had.

How long have you been on it? And is there any side affects the name sounds familiar so I'm not sure if I took it before, is the pill pink?
