Drugstore brands are the way to go. We sometimes think the more we spend the better quality of product. It is true to an extent. But the items that we constantly use like mascara lipstick eyeliner drugstore brands will be a lifesaver to your wallet :)

Well in my opinion there is makeup you need to spend a lot on and makeup you don't. You can't save on foundation. You need to get a perfect match and that's near impossible with drugstore makeup. I've tried a ton of mascaras from dept stores and sephora and I really can't tell a difference. Any thin with a color (ie blush, eye shadow and lipstick) needs to be somewhere where you can try it first. My fave eyeliner is Almay the kind in in the wind up pen, longwear I think. I ran a half marathon today and it stayed on!!
