If I remember correctly its a Lustre formula. Its not going to apply super opaque like their Satin formula for example. It will take multiple coats to get a little more color.

I bought it by looking at the colour until I tried at home on my lips...I like it too but I prefer a bit more pinky colour.

Just use a pinky liner on the whole lip first that will help

I'm guessing it happens because your skin tone is a little darker. I have the same problems when I pick out colours. Traci is right, the only thing that helps when the colour isn't bright enough is to put a lip liner underneath. that will make it much brighter!

From what I rem, lustering isn't that pinky pink like a muted neutral pink (I'm just going off menery here. please correct me if I'm wrong).. what do you have n your makeup bag saiqa? I always just use another lipstick under. or take it back!. Mac ain't cheap. if you dislike it. get a similar shade n satin finish.

I have the same problem with nude lipstick because my lips are naturally very pink. I am with Traci L- apply a pinky nude pencil on your lips before the lipstick. Mac makes a good one called Subculture and I have gotten some great bargain liners from Rimmel London- I love tirimasu.
