Has potential. What you mean like what to put in it? I would put makeup or jewelry. On what to make it better looking because it looks two toned and a bit beat up. I would either paint it, cover it in stickers (probably both <~), or cover in duck tape. Maybe get new hinges, screws, and handle.

You could paint it! The. Make it a planter. Or a jewelry box. Or a dog/cat bed. Or a storage thing. Or makeup storage. I love DIY. If you want to do any of these just tell me. I can help you do it!

You can paint it a bold color or black, you can also stick sone stickers, photos etc.on it. And in it you can put in some too good to throw away books, school papers you shouldnt throw away, jewelry, makeup, nail polish etc. hope this helped:)
