I usually make my own as well :) I've tried baking soda, but it doesn't exfoliate my skin that well. I use honey, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and coconut oil! I experiment from time to time with other ingredients. Like Veronica said, I know exactly what I'm putting on my face! :)

That sounds good too Jamie. Experimenting I'd going to be real fun onceI get a better understanding of what the heck I'm doing :) I also did olive oil in my hair tonight. Bit I feel like there's got to be something better.

I love exfoliating! But be careful using some scrubs as they can actually damage your skin rather than do it good. A really good exfoliate to use that is not abrasive and that exfoliates over time is glycolic acid. Mario Badescu's Foaming Glycolic Acid Cleanser is amazing! You only use it 2-3 times a week and it helps exfoliate your skin of dead skin cells and leaves your skin looking brighter and refreshed, and makes it feel WAY smoother. Not sure if you'd be into something like that but you should look into it for sure! Another good one is Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant. It's a powder that you pour into your hand then add a tiny bit of water to then apply to the face. It's slightly grainy and microfoliates your skin without being too abrasive. It's my favorite product from Dermalogica! It is a bit pricey so for a dupe go with BareMinerals Exfoliating Wash (not sure on the actual name. Just the one that's with the RareMinerals in it). You can get it on Amazon for about $17.99.
Anyways, hope this info helps! Happy exfoliating :)
