I have oily skin and some acne and I always moisturizer my skin prior to apply foundation and I also always prime. However, my foundation never goes on flawless and doesn't stick well on certain parts of my face. I've tried everything!! Please help.

If you have acne that is raised it will never go on flawless and will look a little cakey.Don't sweep the brush across your face a stippling/dabbing method is the best to apply for skin with acne I hear a beauty blender can work really good with skin that has acne.If you have tried all of this I think you should change the products you use as they are the problem.Milk of magnesium is good for oily skin.

It's probably that your foundation doesn't go good with your skin? or the foundation is just bad. I Have acne prone skin Also and oily, I moisture my face using Aveeno, I use the milk of magnesia as primer (Which controls your oily face) and Mabeline dream mouse foundation which is my favorite foundation all time. and endlessly my face comes out looking flawless and stays on all day flawlessly. I used to stick with higher end foundations such as dior and makeuoforever HD but for me the cheaper the foundation are the better they come on my face.

Also to give that flawless look you want using your foundation, Use any beauty blender, I have a beauty sponge I got from target like $7 and love it!
Hope this helps (:

Your moisturiser may be causing the foundation to slide off your face, especially if it is oil based. I find that if I dab a very small amount on my face and let it sit for half an hour it helps too. Also lightly powdering the face and touching up blemishes with another layer of foundation or concealer may be useful to you.

Maybe you don't need primer.
