Hi,
What eye makeup would you do for that color dress for a wedding? (mother of hte bride?). brown hair/brown eyes. she doesn't want neutral eyes, it can be noticed (but not too dramatic). pictures appreciated.. thanks for all your help!

Do you have a picture of the dress? If its more grey toned you could use grey eyeshadow with purple eyeshadow, or lilac if purple is a bit too strong for her. I find that purple looks great on brunettes, as well as brown eyes. It also seems likely to me that she would gravitate towards subtle colors, as opposed to blue or pink. Another great option would be to do green eye makeup, again, pale or dark though in this case dark green could read more like black. If she's into surprises, then that might be good, because you'll only see the green in certain lights. I'm sorry I don't have pictures but I recommend you search the photo section here and see if you find anything she would like.

Yeah if its more grey a purple and grey smokey eye would look pretty.

Oh and if it's more on the brown-khaki side, green would look especially gorgeous. It really works either way, actually. Best of luck!

Thanks both for your input. I didn't see the dress, so I guess I'll have to wait and see. I think I'll prepare in my mind your options, and go from there. Once I see the dress, hopefully get the right inspiration!
