I'm just curious to know what your skincare routine is/are. Mine is quite lengthy:
In the morning I use a face wash, then moisturising cleanser, tea tree oil and moisturiser (E45 for my unpredictably oily/dry skin).
During the day at weekends, I do the face wash again to control my spots etc.
In the evenings, I do the facewash, cleanser, tea tree oil, moisturiser thing, but occassionally I also need sudocrem overnight.
Also, I use a pore strip thing once a week, although I've run out at the moment :/
As I have terrible eczema I also have a whole separate body skincare routine.
I think I do too much, but I found that when I don't have such a strict routine my pimples flare up really badly.
What's your routine?

I just wash my face really good in the morning. Warm water to open up the pores and then clean them out with a cleansing brush. Then I use cool water to close the pores back up. That's about it for me.

My routine is pretty extensive as well. I go by how my skin is reacting on a day to day basis which determines what products I use. The products that have a daily presence and are repeat buys are: African Black soap, Alpha Hydrox Retinol Cream, ReVive Moisturizing Renewal Cream, Mario Badsecu Healing & Soothing Mask, Mario Badsecu Aloe Vera Toner (alcohol free version), Amore Pacific Enzyme Peel, Renee Rouleau Skin Drink, Renee Rouleau Glycolic Acid 17% serum, and mineral sunscreen spf30 from Colorscience and Jane Iredale, coconut oil, grapeseed oil, Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil.

I'm glad you asked this question. Looking forward to seeing responses. I use a mask twice a week and use microdermabrasion kit twice a week. For daytime I use an exfoliating cleanser, serum, day lotion and eye treatment all by ROC. At night after removing makeup same cleanser, serum, eye treatment but usE ROC night cream.

Ella...trust me when I say this...it will catch up to them when they get older. I used to have classmates who were just like yours. At our highschool reunion I had the last laugh. Most of them had bad skin and was asking me for my secrets to clear skin. @Traci...I'm trying to keep my face looking pristine for as long as I can. My poor bathroom counter.lol.

What face wash is it?

I'm like you Jareka, face wash n moisturizer is my daily routine. I exfoliate weekly, and use bio oil on my face weekly as we'll. I apply acne treatment as needed. The rest is just lots of fruits and veggies and lots of sleep. It does wonders for the skin!

Oh and I have moderate eczema as we'll Ella. Anything mild to no fragrance, hypoallergenic, or made for sensitive skin usually works well for eczema prone skin. So I do understand that your skincare is very selective:-)

I have a long extensive routine too! I love my clarisonic, all kinds of exfoliation and I love to be moisturized and all serumed up! I love learning about skincare and really think age has a lot to with what you should be doing to your face. I'm always searching skincare for my 30's. I also go by how my skin is that day. It really does catch up! I always had bad skin compared to my cousins and now in our 30's I get asked a lot of question about what I'm doing. I use websites like cosdna.com to learn about ingredients and what's in my products. You can always google ingredients and find out a lot on wiki. I found out I was allergic to a lot of ingredients in drugstore makeup etc.so I changed to stuff that my skin can handle and it helped with my breakouts sooooo much!! I use makeup alley for reviews a lot too. Make sure you start on an eyecream soon and if you don't already. It's all about what you know girl! @ Traci and Shelley I ain't playin no games either!! I love to read what y'all say!
