I suffered from hormonal acne. And for me they always sore and painful. It would never dry out, it just grew bigger till I accidently poped it in the shower, after it would remain sore and not heal properly, maybe turn into a bigger acne with scar around it. I would get them mostly in my cheeks.

My dermatologist told me a lot of women who have hormonal acne see it more on jaw line and neck. I suffered from that for a couple years UNTIL I changed my birth control. Changing that helped a lot and since I have yet seen one on my jawline! Goodluck 🌼

@ Preeti Yea I get these big, hard painful pimples. They do heel though, but another pops up.

It does sound like hormonal acne. I get them around and on my nose and chin before my period sometimes. usually just one or two though.

It could be hormonal, it could also be cause by having your phone on your face if you talk on it a lot or if you sit down and rest your face in your hands a lot it could transfer oils and bacteria to your chin causing spots

I read somewhere before that when you get acne around your jaw and chin.. they're most likely hormonal acne.

Yeah I heard its a hormonal imbalance when it's on your jawline and neck. I get acne there too pretty much only there.

Birth control will definitely help. also, look for acne washes that get rid of redness and inflammation. lush makes 2 (fresh farmacy for oily skin and aqua marina for dry sensitive skin). these two washes have calamine powder which does just that plus other extremely soothing ingredients.
