HELP! I do everything for my nails and cuticles...hand scrubs, oil, lotions etc.and they are always dry. I'm not sure what else to try.

I suffer with the same problem. When I get my acrylics done. They remove the dry bits with the electric nail tool. Then I use CND solar oil or OPI avoplex oil as often as possible. I wonder if extra vitamins would help. Has anyone tried the ones tailored for hair and nails? They can be expensive, wondered if they are worth the money.

I use skin hair and nails vitamins from holland&barrett. they are pretty good and after two weeks I started noticing a difference, hair was really shiny and my nails are a lot stronger than they used to be, I wouldnt stop taking them now. you should give them a try and see how they work for you :-)

I use the CND too. I was looking into those vitamins...ubber frustrating when polish looks good and cuticles look blah.

Try using Chapstick 2 or 3 times a day. Works great.

My hands are always in water so they get extremely dry. I used cuticle cream every morning and night ( Burt's bees, Lush ) Hand cream through out the day ( Josie Maran, L'Occitane ) at night I used an extremely emollient cream ( Paw Paw ointment, Acuaphor ointment )

I use maracuja oil at night. It works great.

Drink lots of water, and a multi vitamin will do the same thing as a hair and nails vitamin, only it has more of the other things your body needs as well.
