I use a mousse that helps to straight you hair and it really works, I use a bit the straigtner but they are not to much curly. The mousse is made by Herbal Essence.

I agree with Tiana, My mom use to wrap my hair around me head and hold it with bobby pins, then I'd put a hat on and sleep on it(:
