There could be a bigger problem here than just hairloss and if it were me I'd be straight to a doctor! Perhaps go and see your doctor and talk to them about how its making you feel and ask them why its happening, I'm sure they'd get to the bottom of it. :)

I agree with shaye sweetie. go get that checked with a physician. that doesn't sound like normal hair loss especially if it's been going on for a few years. good luck keep us updated! xoxo.

Have you had a child? I'm a hair dresser and a few of my clients have hair loss after giving birth, if not, you may want to go to your doctor or dermatologist for it could also be Alopecia areata (AA) its a condition in which hair is lost from some or all areas of the body, usually from the scalp.

Definitely go to a dr to see what's going on maybe they can prescribe something for you...I work at an Aveda salon and Aveda makes a treatment for thinning hair a lot of clients use it and it's successful...

Definitely see a doctor to rule out medical issue. Thyroid issues are notorious for hair loss such as hyperactive/Graves

A regular doctor will be able to refer you to a doctor specialising in the help you're looking for :)

Yeah well my friend has thyroid problems (graves) and her hair was constantly falling. she takes her treatment but I think it's important to use a good shampoo as well. she ordered online some Kerastase anti hairloss shampoo and another on by Sebamed. she also uses a hair toner by Philip...(I can't remember the full name right now). hey, there's also some hair elixir or serum "jason... from thin to thick" or smth like this.

Definitely see your family doctor and they will refer you to a hair specialist. It's probably some underlying issue with your thyroid or something else. I know a couple girls in highschool that had a similar problem but I wasn't close friends with them so I'm not sure what ever ended up happening. I wish you all the best.

I was having the same issue. For me it was my thyroid. It's under control now but it's always going to be a constant battle. I decided to get a pixie cut it looks like I have a full head of hair again. I know cutting short it's not an option for some people but it works for me. Hope all goes well for you.

I have a friend who this happens to because of stress. Whenever she gets really stressed her hair starts to fall out. She uses a headband whenever that happens.
