Please help

Perfection isn't just in the painting - it's also in the clean-up afterwards. Get a small make-up or nail brush (I use an eyeliner brush but have also used a size 2 uv gel brush) and dip it in acetone. Very gently run the brush around the cuticle area to neaten up the polish.

It helps to have a good canvas to work on so before you start, make sure you're cuticles have been pushed back and you've used remover where necessary.

Definately push cuticles back, soften them first with a lotion or specific cuticle remover! And buff the surface of your nail to smooth any rough surface! When it comes to actually painting the nail, DONT over-load your brush! I was always told "3 thin coats are better than 1 or 2 thick coats" as in it dries a lot quicker and you get better coverage. So think 'less is more!' Wait for each layer to FULLY dry before applying again! Next you dont want to paint the 'whole' nail, like you have done and it has resulted in the colour bleeding into the cuticles and nail bed. So you need to paint as close to the edges of your nails as possible, (this means near the cuticle too!) without actually touching the edge! (leaving 1mm, maybe 2mm gap!) trust me- it sounds wierd, but it makes all the difference! (takes a lot of practise so dont panic!) Also makes the nail appear slimmer and longer! Hope this was some help :) xx

Less is more! Put a dot of polish on your nail and drag it around your nail. After the first coat dries add a second coat, let it dry and then add a top coat so that's the polish is shiny and not dull.
