IMO I would think that both will be EXTREMELY hot sellers during Xmas, but Vice will sell out much faster since the shades are all brand brand new. So maybe you should get that one for yourself for now and leave Smoked on your Xmas list.... UNLESS price point is your biggest concern, then do it the other way around... Buy yourself Smoked and leave the more expensive palette on the wish list :)

I agree. They will both be around for Christmas. Get yourself the one now that you really want and get the other for Christmas.

I had that same dilemma and I decided to go with vice which I ordered last night. Another suggestion I can make is urban decay has their black palette on sale for I think $16 which sort of reminds me of smoked if you wanted to save some money :) I have the palette and I like it!

I went with the vice. I watch tons of YouTube videos and all the gurus were more excited by the vice. Yes there are colors that are really bright which you think you may not use but I've found ways without them being too crazy. Like pop them under your lower lash line for just a pop of color. Another thing that got me was that they are all new shadows so unlike the smoked which I think maybe have 2 from previous palettes this one has none. The only problem with vice is there is a shade provocator that is a little crumbly with tons of fallout but other than that I'm absolutely in love with it and you can definitely do a smoky eye with it. In my opinion it's the better deal and I've been using it every day since I got it and have had complete different looks!
