I'm a freshman too and I wear foundation powder eyeshadow eyeliner and mascara! :)

Don't go too crazy because high schoolers are very judgmental. I wear a light eyeshadow, liner, and mascara. if your skin is really bad maybe put light powder, but if you don't then just skip the face makeup.
