You can use a nail strengthener it helps a lot and your nails will gradually get longer.

Crush a harlic put the piece in clear nail polish. apply this nail polish. no it wudnt smell ;)

Soak nails in luke warm olive oil for fifteen mins daily.

I use Sally Hansen olive oil nail strengthener. They sell it at Walgreens and it comes in a mate bottle with a metallic green top.
