If your glitter polishes don't completely cover, your can also put a normal polish under the glitter, in the same color as the glitter :) That will make it look more like a pure glitter polish :)

Use a base coat and be willing to put on several coats. Also if you buy ones with finer milled (smaller) glitter it will cover better.

I find that if I use a similar color to the glitter first, it really helps (I.e if I'm doing silver glitter, I will do one coat of silver nail polish, then add the coats of glitter). This helps keep it looking nice and dense.

Put a clear coat then sprinkle actual glitter on them let it dry then put another clear coat over it.
