I'm not a fan if Clarins Double Serum. Overpriced nonsense in a bottle as it contains the ugly mineral oil and few other ingredients that are just pointless. You'd have much better success using DIY vitamin c serum. If you need the recipe let me know and I ask my husband. Just know that if you go DIY you will need to make a fresh batch every couple of days since it will be without the preservatives.

I've never used clarins before but I can tell you that you want a stabilized form a vitamin C ,L ascorbic acid it should be in a dark bottle if not your probably getting C ester and that doesn't offer as much benefits such as the firming and cell turnover that ascorbic acid does it will help with brightening of the skin thou and you can use the ascorbic acid powder but as Shelley said it does not last it losses most of it's potency soon as air hits it ,the best C serum I have used so far is Isomers C stem serum
