- Primer (if you use one)
- Foundation
- a couple eyeshadow colours
- Mascara
- Eyeliner
- Lip Balm
That should cover all your basics. You don't need to go full out when you travel

Bring a palette that's has everything you ( eyeshadow, blush, bronzer, highlight) mascara, a black/brown eyeliner. And maybe 2 lipsticks.

Use products that multi-task! Bring a palette with colors you can use for brows and eyeliner as well as your everyday colors. Or choose a pencil. A concealer can work as a foundation, and a multi-purpose stick can be used as eyeshadow, cheek color, or lip color. (:
