So I have natural curly/wavy hair, but if I wear it natural it gets all frizzy. So I was wondering if there are any curlers out there that can give me the laid back (beachy) curl look, so that I can work with my natural hair, but tame it!

You could use a wand and by different techs get the desired effect. I have a babyliss one, works nice:-)

I agree, a curling wand is your best option. I have a Karmin clipless curling wand to get beachy curls and it's the best thing for it :)

I have the same type of hair and recently had my hair cut. My hairdresser used Davines invisible serum for satiny, tousled looks. I put a pea-sized amount on when it is damp, leave to naturally dry a bit about 45 mins, and then finish with a blow-dryer and it is amazing. I love it! It gives really soft natural curls. Then I rub a tiny but of Aveda Light Elements Smoothing Fluid for a bit of shine. Expensive but SO worth it!!

Try to curl your hair with a straightening iron. I love the kind of curls it makes and it will make sure your hair is smooth.
