I've had dry flaky skin around my nose and chin for a really long time now. I moisturize every morning and wash my face at night. When I put makeup on it makes it look even worse. Also, after I've worn makeup for a while my forehead starts to look flaky too. Any idea of what I could do to help it that is fast and not too expensive??

I had a similar reaction last year and it was actually due to my face wash being too harsh for my skin. It was so bad that my skin flaked and the entire area turned red, it looked almost like a burn. What are you currently using?

Another thing it could be is just insufficient moisture. Try exfoliating the areas gently and then applying a rich face cream at night, or applying something like Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream or Yu•be cream to the flaky areas before you go to bed. Both of those are super thick creams that might not feel the best at first but will certainly clear any dryness you have (assuming that the cause isn't what Taylor said). If you just want a face cream try Korres. Its an all natural brand and I've found it to be very moisturizing and luxurious.
