French Manicure help?

I was wondering what I could use to do the white bit of french manicure but I wanted to use an easy technique that I can do at my house that doen't cost a bit.

You could try covering the base with scotch tape after it's dry and obviously round the edge of it so it will make a nice French

Agree ^ and be sure to pull the scotch tape after the nail polish is dry..

I have used scotch tape on my actual nail and then pealed the tape off while it was still wet so the nail polish doesn't peel off.
