I read about this and there are many theories, some I remembered- you are getting older and your organism has a lack of vitamins, minerals etc/ they are dry/ you aren,t carefull with them and hit them often/ this also could be a result of some medical treatments like antibiotics.
I had them to for a perior, but I guess it was because of antibiotocs. I buffed the surface and don,t have them anymore:-)

Maybe you get acrylics too often? I know some women who developed those ridges over the years from getting their nails done often. Just my theory , try some nail strengthener and maybe over time they'll get better :)

Nails are really cool. They tell us things about our bodily health. Vertical ridges are most common so they aren't unhealthy. Horizontal ridges can mean something more serious. So don't worry, you're all good!

Thanks a lot. And I did start using the Sally Hansen nail hardner 3 weeks back, unfortunately my nails look yellow and unhealthy. I do wear nail polish but I never change it until it chips off by itself and my nails were never yellow and sick looking :(

Now I have stopped using the nail hardner hoping my nails will resume to their natural healthy look. Maybe il try some home remedies.
