Hey ladies, I was just wondering what type of makeup everyone prefers for themselves, a natural face where you can still see a few flaws where its like you can't tell if someone has really awesome skin or wearing some makeup or a flawless face that looks airbrushed or flawless but then everyone can tell your wearing makeup. everyone has their own opinions and I was just curious what one would win the most votes!

A configuration of both, there are some flaws I don't mind, and others I try a little harder to cover. If that mashed any sense at all.

Somewhere between, let's call it perfect natural:-)

Flawless makeup should look natural- like makeup shouldn't look like you put a million products on. When your technique is right it can look like you have the most amazing skin and wouldn't even guess you have makeup on.

I agree 100% with Carolyn. I always do a flawless face when I do make up and people can't tell whether I did make up or not. If I want to look natural natural then ill go out without make up. To me that's natural.

Lol that is what flawless means... And still it's all technique. Working at Mac my friends beat their faces to the moon but it still looks completely natural.
The only time I've seen it look "plastic" or whatever was when the person didn't blend right or made an off color choice.

I agree Mairead, thought the same... or natural or those unreal faces which look very well executed but absolutely different from the real faces:-)

Alright well I'm giving my opinion- the question is natural or flawless, I'm saying flawless can look natural. Idk what you've seen but I know girls who naturally without makeup have no blemishes or enlarged pores. I've seen girls that look like they have foundation on but really it's just their skin- that's why flawless makeup which is beat can look natural because I've seen it be the opposite.

I'm so happy everyone got into this! agreed with carolyn that flawless can look natural like flawless skin I just meant in the question like if it were my skin and youve seen me without makeup it looks nothing like me with a flawless face of makeup as my skin is far from flawless if that makes sense.
