Hey guys, I was curious to see what your best recommendations are for helping splitting/flaking nails. I'm not sure if it's the winter cold, but both could use a little love and nutrients.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Well Moroccan oil is great for your hair but it is kinda expensive for nails I always have a clear coat for protection but that's it really

Oh and as for your hair, avoid excessive shampooing and especially avoid washing frequently. The winter cold can leave one with a dry scalp and you need your natural oils to keep your hair in good condition. Apply Argon Oil to your hair once/twice a week and leave in for 20/30minutes before washing out.

Sorry, Raven, it's not my thread but I have a question for Burcu:-) My problems is that my nails peel, I don't means only the tips, but the whole surface this is very visible after removin polish. Why is that and how to get rid of this problem?:-)

I see your problem I have that very same thing right this moment hah! First of all give yourself a mini manicure just push those cuticles back so you can get a clear view of where the nail is pealing, then grab yourself a buffer and GENTLY buff around and over your nail (be careful not to overdo it). Instead of cuticle oil use olive oil (I know it sounds silly but the density of the oil helps!). Then let your nail grow out and the peel should grow out with it :).

Brea, maybe get a shampoo for everyday use, they are much more gentle:-)
Burcu, but why does this thing happen? ( I've used a buffer and a rich oily cream before my last mani, but I'm affraid that when I'll remove my polish now I'll them again)

Nails are very delicate things hun, my ones are from the obvious, acrylics! How often do your nails peal? Winter is a big factor!

Sally Hansen is my personal favourite, it has an even density to it! You can also use hand cream but don't go for the expensive brands. Get a Nivea hand cream as it has less chemicals in it and gently massage It into your nails and cuticles while applying to your hands. only use that 2-3 times a week on your nails as you don't want to soften them too much!
